Good morning Sonia , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about your customers?
One thing I’ve learned about my customers is that everyone is different in their own kind of way. Like their style, I highly recommend for my consistent customers to give feedback this helps potential customers to make the right purchase and it also helps me to get new ideas for my buisness. I do say that Everyone is different and that’s okay i respect my customers just the way they are.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Sonia Jimenez and I am the owner of Kay’s Boutique. Our boutique was found back in 2017 when my husband was working at a clothing wholesale warehouse and one day he came home inspiring me to open my own boutique. We decided to name it after my daughter her name is “Kaylee” so then 2018 my online boutique was launched it was then how it started. am proud to have an online boutique and now also a cute mobile boutique where you can find trendy clothes for less. Our boutique was created to inspire women and young girls in our community to shop for an outfit and feel confident at all times. The mobile boutique is available only for pop ups and Market events since I still haven’t found a stable place where I can park for the public. But we are working on that! Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
A few times it has crossed my mind. I think you have to be willing to take risk in life in order to reach your goals and full potential In whatever it is that you do. It does scares me but it also strengths me. A lot of people may not know that my boutique is my side hustle job and everything comes from scratch! I feel like I’ve accomplished many things running my business of my own that makes me proud of myself. I’m a believer and i trust in God his timing is perfect! If you don’t take the risk, you will regret it.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes one hundred percent! I always say the only way someone will succeed is to stay humble and real. There is nothing greater than to love others. I hope that when everyone shops at my boutique they feel the positive energy. That’s what moves me every day and what i wish to pass on to those around me because together we can uplift each other and bloom together!

It’s important to give yourself credit be proud of yourself. Even when nobody is cheering for you it’s okay! Never let anyone dim your light. Always do your best and God will do the rest.
