Today we’d like to introduce you to Stella Leo. She shared her story with us below:
As a former Ivy Leaguer, and after a decade of spearheading the marketing and PR for brands like Saks Fifth Avenue, Samsung and Moroccanoil, Stella created a lifestyle brand of her own, Stylishly Stella. It’s where she fabulously inspires people to celebrate the every day in a stylish way through fashion, artsy adventures, travel, decor and more.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There was no guidebook to making an income through the newly invented platforms social media has brought us, so I had to figure things out with everyone else while venturing this new path. And obstacles like judgment, stereotypes about influencers, and general confusion about the industry required a lot of trial and error, research, networking, and educating others as I was educating myself along the way.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My content has a stylish spin. So while I (like others) may feature a ton of family-friendly insights, top travel tips, or Instagramable hot spot information, you’ll notice that it stands out because it also features matching mommy and me outfits, a highly stylized event or themed decor.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
