Today we’d like to introduce you to Sophia Graniela.
Hi Sophia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey began in 2022 after a devastating heartbreak that completely cracked my life open. At the time, I thought I was only grieving the relationship, but what surfaced was so much deeper. It brought up years of abandoning myself, quieting my voice, and losing who I was in the process of trying to be loved, accepted, and chosen.
For most of my life, I was terrified of rejection, conflict, and being misunderstood. I was bullied growing up and struggled deeply with self-worth. I learned early on that it felt safer to shrink myself than to fully express who I was. That pattern followed me into adulthood and into unhealthy and abusive relationships where I disconnected more and more from my truth.
I spent years abandoning myself in different ways, and one of those ways was through substance & alcohol abuse. I started using substances at 15 as a way to cope with the pain, quiet the insecurity, and chase the sense of belonging I was desperately searching for. Looking back, so much of my life was shaped by the fear that who I truly was would not be enough.
In 2023, I reached a point where I knew I could not continue living the way I had been. I decided to embrace sobriety, and for the first time in my life, I truly began nourishing my mind, body, and soul instead of abandoning myself. I dove into physical movement, solo travel, spending time in nature, emotional healing work, and rebuilding my relationship with myself from the inside out. What started as healing from heartbreak became a complete transformation in the way I lived, loved, and saw myself.
That healing journey eventually became *Her Journey Home*, which started as a deeply personal transformation and evolved into the foundation of the work I do today. Along the way, I found healing through storytelling, EFT tapping, travel, community, and most importantly, learning how to use and trust my voice again.
Podcasting became a huge turning point for me because it gave me a space to speak honestly without shrinking my depth. For the first time, I felt like I did not have to perform or fit myself into a version that felt more acceptable. It taught me that confidence is not something you suddenly wake up with but it’s actually something you build every time you tell the truth, express yourself authentically, and allow yourself to be witnessed before you feel fully ready.
Today, I help self-aware women stop second-guessing themselves and start trusting their voice through podcasting, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and storytelling. So much of what I teach comes from lived experience. I know what it feels like to lose yourself trying to belong, to fear being seen (and rejected), and to question your worth constantly. But I also know what becomes possible when you begin reconnecting with your truth and realizing your voice was never the problem.
More than anything, my work is about helping women Unmute Their Magic & feel safe to be themselves again.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth road. Honestly, a lot of my journey has been about unlearning the patterns that kept me disconnected from myself for so many years.
One of the hardest parts has been grieving versions of my life I thought would last forever. I’ve lost friendships I truly believed would be lifelong relationships, gone through countless heartbreaks both romantically and platonically, and had to accept that healing sometimes changes your relationships completely. There were seasons where I felt incredibly alone because the version of me that people were used to was no longer the version of me I was becoming.
I’ve also had to overcome a huge amount of self-sabotage. When you spend years believing you are not enough, it becomes hard to trust yourself even when opportunities are right in front of you. I struggled with overthinking, constantly seeking external validation, outsourcing my own intuition, and feeling like someone else always had the answers. At one point, I invested so heavily into mentorships, courses, and programs that I nearly filed for bankruptcy because I thought the next thing, the next strategy, or the next person would finally “fix” me or make me successful.
A huge part of my healing has been learning to trust my own voice again.
Building new habits after years of abandoning myself was also incredibly difficult. Sobriety was not just about removing substances. It meant completely rebuilding my life from the ground up. I had to learn how to regulate my emotions without escaping them, create routines that actually supported me, nourish my body, and stay committed to myself even when it felt uncomfortable or unfamiliar.
Another major struggle was putting myself out there publicly before I felt ready. Launching my podcast, recording face-to-camera videos, sharing my story online, speaking vulnerably, and allowing myself to be fully seen felt terrifying at first. I spent so much of my life trying not to be judged or misunderstood, so using my voice publicly brought up a lot of fear around rejection, visibility, and worthiness.
There were also moments where I questioned everything. Times where growth felt slow, where I compared myself to others online, where I pivoted, judged myself and wondered if I was really cut out for this path, or if I should just go back to hiding. Looking back, every single uncomfortable step helped me build confidence in myself little by little.
I think one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that healing and growth are rarely linear. A lot of it is learning how to stay with yourself through the uncertainty instead of abandoning yourself the moment things get hard.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I help women unlock their authentic self-expression and reconnect with the parts of themselves they’ve hidden, silenced, or abandoned in order to be accepted. A huge part of my work is helping women “unmute their magic” by learning how to trust their voice, share their story, and express themselves more honestly and confidently.
I specialize in soul aligned podcasts, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) & using your voice. Through my coaching, content, and programs, I help women turn their stories into soul-aligned podcasts that reflect who they truly are instead of who they think they need to be.
One of my signature programs is Unfiltered, a podcasting and self expression program designed to help women stop overthinking, stop performing, and start using their voice with confidence. Inside the program, I combine EFT tapping, podcast strategy & expression to help women move through the emotional blocks that come with being seen & vulnerability. It’s not just about launching a podcast. It’s about helping women feel safe enough to share their truth unapologetically.
I’m especially known for my EFT tapping work and for creating spaces where women feel emotionally safe enough to be themselves. I think what sets me apart is that I blend the structure with the expression & emotional safety. There are many podcast mentors & growth strategists but 99% of podcasters quit before 10 episodes, so by using EFT tapping, we can move through fears, resistance & limiting beliefs that pop up so they can stay consistent. I don’t just teach women how to speak or launch a podcast. I help them trust in the value of their story & build conviction in their voice.
A lot of the women I work with are deeply self-aware and creative, but they’ve spent years filtering themselves, overthinking everything they say, or shrinking their depth because they were afraid of rejection, judgment, or being misunderstood. My work helps them move from self-protection into authentic self-expression.
What I’m most proud of is witnessing women reclaim their voice in ways that completely change how they show up in the world. Watching someone go from doubting themselves to launching a podcast, sharing their story publicly, speaking confidently, setting boundaries, or finally expressing themselves honestly is incredibly meaningful to me.
What are your plans for the future?
I’m very excited to continue expanding Unfiltered and evolving it into an even deeper space for women to unlock their voice, confidence, and authentic self-expression. Right now, so much of my focus is on building a larger community around the work and creating more opportunities for women to feel supported, witnessed, and connected throughout their healing and creative journey.
I’m also planning to grow Unfiltered into a group experience and community-centered program that combines podcasting, storytelling, EFT tapping, emotional healing, and speaking confidence in a more immersive way. One of the biggest things I’ve learned is how transformative it is for women to heal and use their voice in spaces where they feel truly seen and understood, so creating more of that collective experience feels really important to me.
Something I’m especially excited about is eventually hosting retreats. Travel has always been one of my greatest passions and teachers. Some of the biggest shifts in my life happened when I stepped outside of my comfort zone, explored new places, met new people, and reconnected with myself in different environments. I would love to create experiences that combine travel, healing, storytelling, community, and self-expression in a really intentional way.
More than anything, I want to continue creating spaces that help women feel safe enough to fully be themselves. Whether that’s through podcasts, group programs, retreats, or community experiences, my vision is to help women reconnect with their voice and realize there is nothing wrong with the parts of themselves they’ve spent years trying to hide.
