Today we’d like to introduce you to Jean Trebek Alison Martin
Hi Jean Trebek, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2018, we – Jean Trebek (wife of Alex Trebek) and Alison Martin – began insidewink with its mission of “share the good”. We launched the insidewink website which was dedicated to positivity– featuring guest articles, affirmations, recipes, and interviews. In 2023, we expanded our platform by launching the insidewink podcast, which delves into extraordinary stories and insights through conversations with visionaries and everyday heroes. The interviews on insidewink focus on themes of courage, creativity, practical wisdom, and transformational ideas.
Guest speakers share their journeys and insights in a way that empowers our audience. Some of our guests include: Anita Moorjani, Lee Harris, Neale Donald Walsch, Carla Hall, Kathy Guisti, Tami Simon, Eben Alexander, and Hadley Vlahos.
These extraordinary individuals are not just dreaming about a better world—they’re making it happen, inspiring us all with their remarkable achievements and unique perspectives. There’s plenty of authenticity, deep dives, and loads of laughter. Join us as we share the good.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For the most part, it has been a smooth road for us and the insidewink podcast. We have learned a lot about the world and ourselves. We have also expanded our technical side with two excellent team members – Eddy DeMelo and Emma Berdie Donson.
The podcast interviews themselves are always fun and easy. All our guests are brilliant and are a joy to talk with.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We both so greateful for our interesting and varied lives.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
It’s both exciting and challenging to start something new. It always helps to define your mission and be clear on what you want to achieve. Keep that goal as a top priority and many things will fall into place.
If your project does not bring you some form of joy, then please take the time to rethink it. There is always a way to bring forth a level of enthusiasm and inspiration.
Remember, kindness is key – to both yourself and others.
