Rising Stars: Meet Carl Lawson of Ct

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carl Lawson

Hi Carl , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was born in Bridgeport CT by My mother Catherine Crosley and my father Arthur Lawson one sibling Cassandra Lawson but I found out I had other siblings when I got older growing up in the 80s was tough lucky I had a real father who provided me and my sister a stable child hood my mom wasn’t there for any of us at all she was a drug addict of the worst kind I guess it was best that she stayed away because she definitely wasn’t there for any of her offspring Like I said I found out about my older brother and sister well into my adult years never even had a clue I had an older brother I heard about my older sister but never met or talked to her at all up until 2 years ago

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Going to school I was always a fast learner unlock my peers most of the time I had to be the one to help out with other people’s school work

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a radio/ podcast host for my own show plus I co- host another show with a friend we specialize in making sure we play every submission if you want to be heard you will be heard we are known for playing local national and global music from all parts I am proud of how far I have come The growth and courage it took to stand outside the box and be something complicated different is what stands me apart from others the know how to go out and actually make it happen plus I record music myself and others I have my own studio set up

I would have to give credit to Pedro Rivera aka #megaspinz for showing me the ropes and be patient we had a plan we stuck to the plan not every body could see the vision but we stuck it out now we have a website that plays 24/7
