Rising Stars: Meet Autumn Rose of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Autumn Rose.

Hi Autumn, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in Palmdale, where opportunities were limited and a lot of my friends were slipping into drugs, trouble, or teenage pregnancy. I wanted to create something different a safe space where women who felt like outsiders could express themselves, feel seen, and build confidence. That’s how The Pin Up Experience was born.

I offered photo shoots, hair and makeup, classic car shows, and full pin‑up events with cash prizes, publications, and magazine features. Watching these women blossom many of them stepping into their power for the first time was one of the greatest joys of my life.

As the brand grew, I partnered with Pin Ups For Cancer to support women who had battled cancer. Giving them a chance to see themselves in a new light, in a style that celebrated their strength and beauty, was incredibly meaningful. But during that time, I also realized something important: you can make someone feel beautiful for a moment, but I wanted to help them feel beautiful from the inside out, long after the makeup and photos were gone.

That realization led me into the world of holistic healthcare. Today, I’m a sound and light frequency practitioner, helping people release emotional, physical, and spiritual blockages. My work focuses on nervous system regulation guiding clients out of fight‑or‑flight and into a place where they can feel confident, grounded, and whole without needing a photoshoot or a magazine feature to validate them.

My journey started with creating empowering environments, and now it has evolved into transforming lives on a deeper level. Whether it was through pin‑up culture or through frequency work, my mission has always been the same: to create safe spaces where people can reconnect with their worth. And I love knowing that the ripple effect of that work continues far beyond me.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. My journey started in Palmdale, where resources were limited and I had to learn early how to create opportunities instead of waiting for them. Building The Pin Up Experience from scratch meant doing everything myself the branding, the events, the hair and makeup coordination, the photography, the community outreach. There were moments where I questioned if anyone would show up, if people would understand the vision, or if I was dreaming too big for where I came from.

I also carried my own personal struggles into the work. I grew up around instability, survival mode, and environments where people didn’t always believe in themselves. So while I was building a brand, I was also rebuilding me. That meant learning how to lead, how to trust my intuition, and how to keep going even when I felt overlooked or underestimated.

Working with women especially those battling cancer or dealing with deep insecurities taught me that beauty work is emotional work. Holding space for others while navigating my own healing wasn’t always easy. There were days I felt drained, days I felt misunderstood, and days where the weight of everyone’s stories sat heavy on my heart.

But every challenge shaped me. The struggles pushed me toward holistic healing, toward understanding the nervous system, and toward the deeper work I do now as a sound and light frequency practitioner. Looking back, the road wasn’t smooth, but it was purposeful. Every obstacle taught me how to create safer spaces, how to empower others, and how to transform pain into something meaningful.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My work has evolved so much over the years, but at its core, it has always been about creating safe, transformative spaces for people. I started with The Pin Up Experience, where I specialized in photo shoots, hair and makeup, classic car shows, and full pin‑up events. What I became known for was the environment I created a place where women who felt overlooked or insecure could step into a version of themselves they had never seen before. Watching them light up, gain confidence, and feel celebrated was the heartbeat of that work.

Today, my work looks different, but the mission is the same. I’m now a sound and light frequency practitioner specializing in emotional, physical, and spiritual regulation. I help clients release stored trauma, calm their nervous systems, and reconnect with a sense of inner safety and self‑worth. Instead of giving people a moment of beauty, I help them build a foundation where they can feel beautiful, grounded, and confident from the inside out.

What I’m most proud of is the evolution that I allowed myself to grow, to follow my intuition, and to take everything I learned from the pin‑up world into holistic healing. I didn’t abandon my past; I expanded it. The same compassion, creativity, and empowerment that fueled my events now fuels my sessions.

What sets me apart is the blend of worlds I come from. I understand both the external and internal sides of confidence. I’ve seen how environment, community, and self‑expression can change someone and now I pair that with nervous system work, frequency healing, and emotional regulation. My clients don’t just feel better for a moment; they experience long‑term shifts.

How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy is witnessing people come back home to themselves. Whether it was through the Pin Up Experience or through sound and light frequency work, I love seeing that moment when someone softens, breathes deeper, and remembers their own worth. Helping people feel safe, confident, and connected to who they truly are that’s what lights me up. Knowing that one person’s healing creates a ripple in their family and community is the greatest joy of my work.
