Today we’d like to introduce you to Aga Samras.
Aga, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
At 19, I traded the familiar streets of Poland for the unknown horizons of America, fueled by nothing but curiosity and a hunger for opportunity. My American dream started in Philadelphia, where I spent my days working and my nights at Temple University, eventually earning my BA in accounting. Philly became my “home away from home,” a vibrant melting pot where I was surrounded by fellow immigrants chasing big dreams.
It was also where I met Nathan. As his career and education took us across the country, I navigated the challenges of constant moves by turning them into an advantage, gaining diverse experience at various accounting firms along the way.
In 2017, our family of five finally touched down in Los Angeles. Building a life in California was a climb, but today, we wouldn’t trade the view for anything. My business is thriving, and I feel incredibly lucky to balance the books for the brilliant, operational minds that keep the “City of Angels” running.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Balancing professional responsibilities with a rewarding personal life is one of my primary focuses. As a parent of three teenagers, my household is naturally high-energy; while the logistical demands are significant, the fulfillment of supporting my family is well worth the effort.
I am deeply committed to my career in accounting, yet I remain intentional about prioritizing quality time with my family and scheduling regular vacations. The seasonal nature of the accounting cycle fortunately allows for a more flexible pace during the summer months.
In today’s fast-paced environment, I strive to remain highly accessible to my clients to ensure exceptional service. While maintaining this level of responsiveness is a constant challenge, I am dedicated to delivering timely results and ensuring client satisfaction remains a top priority.
I’m very thankful to my team whose support and dedication is extremely valuable!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

We don’t just “do books”—we empower entrepreneurs by managing every operational detail and providing elite CFO services. I personally specialize in high-impact tax planning, compliance, and filing to keep your business ahead of the game.
As a 100% cloud-based firm, we leverage cutting-edge tech to maximize your efficiency and deliver a seamless experience. We’ve been incredibly lucky to partner with amazing clients so far, but we’re just getting started—we are ready to help even more businesses scale and succeed.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Over time, I have noticed that my unique set of skills and professional reputation started to attract specific types of opportunities. My husband was my biggest fan when it came to starting my own business. In a professional context, luck is often just a byproduct of trust. When my network knows I possess the rare combination of high-touch Relationship Management and operational reliability, the market self-selects me for high-stakes opportunities.
Additionally, by merging my “love for people” with business delivery, I have created a unique value proposition. Opportunities find me because I am no longer a generalist; I have positioned myself as the specialized solution for clients who value both human connection and results. This reduces competition and increases the “quality” of the luck I encounter.
