Priinceton Cromartie of Calabasas on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Priinceton Cromartie shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Priinceton, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? When was the last time you felt true joy?
Everyday I wake up, Im always Super excited to wake up in the land of the living, that’s one more day that I get to help change the world.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Priince, PRIINCE THE BRAND to some PRIINCE DA BARBER to others a master barber, entertainer, and visionary behind Priince The Brand. Blending precision, personality, and purpose, I’ve built a brand rooted in luxury, lifestyle, and influence. From behind the chair to behind the scenes, I bring energy, creativity, and professionalism to every space I touch. Whether I’m sharpening fades or setting trends, PTB represents confidence, culture, and elevation

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My sis Jess has been one of the most hilarious, honest, and powerful influences in my life. Her quick wit and bold personality didn’t just make me laugh — they taught me resilience, confidence, and how to own every room I walk into. Jess didn’t sugarcoat life, and in doing so, she helped shape me into someone grounded, driven, and real. Through her humor, strength, and unfiltered love, she help mold me into the business man that I am today — someone who can take a joke, take a hit, and take on the world.

When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
When My Pop Pop Passed

Losing my Pop Pop was one of the deepest pains I’ve ever felt. He wasn’t just family — he was a foundation. His presence brought comfort, his words carried wisdom, and his love was steady through everything. When he passed, it felt like a piece of me went with him. The sadness was heavy, but so was the love and legacy he left behind. I still carry him with me — in the way I move, in the values he taught, and in the strength he showed me every day.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
Protecting Human Rights at All Costs

Human rights are not optional — they’re essential. As activists, it’s our duty to confront injustice wherever it lives. Whether it’s in our communities or across the globe, we must defend the oppressed, challenge broken systems, and fight for freedom, equity, and dignity for all. No excuses. No silence. Protecting human rights isn’t just a cause — it’s a commitment.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What will you regret not doing?

I never regret helping people. Even when it’s not returned, I know my heart is in the right place — and that always brings a bigger blessing. What I give, God multiplies.
