Meet Tori Springer Taylor of simply simplify in Venice

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tori Springer Taylor.

Tori Springer, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started as a celebrity estate manager and found there were always projects the house staff could not find the time for. Thus, began my room-by-room organizing technique. I then moved to Paris and began applying my American de-cluttering methods and received a wonderful response. Upon my return to LA, I worked for Elyse Walker and did her PR and events and her clientele soon became my clientele for organization. Allowing someone in your home requires extreme trust so my company began with this clientele and has since evolved, solely from referrals, into a high-end organizing and moving company. A large part of our business today is our moving component in which we prepare a family for their move and then unpack their items so their home is white glove, turn-key ready upon move-in. Our clientele consists primarily of high-level executives, professional athletes and celebrities.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I would say that it has been a process over time and if you are open to evolving your skills, you learn something new every day, which just makes you better at what you do! Relationships are also key. Investing time in training staff and having integrity in you your work will provide repeat clientele and you can continue to do what you love!

So, let’s switch gears a bit and go into the simply simplify story. Tell us more about the business.
I am known for making decisions and getting the job done and not taking no for an answer. My clients love my aesthetic and taste and rely on me to make decisions on their behalf. I have a gift for reading people and setting up their home just as they would dream it up!

The wonderful relationships and contacts I have forged have helped get me to where I am along with my integrity and positive, happy attitude along the way, which make what could be a very stressful experience, a pleasurable one.
