Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony “Super” Chang.
Tony, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started Super Jewelry Co. back in 2018 and I was ready to start my own business because I was working with Ablaze International Corporation for six years. I valued freedom above all else and although it was a difficult and scary decision to make at the time, I am happy to say it was worth it! During this time of unrest and change especially in the Jewelry Industry, our growing Brand, Super Jewelry Co. is thriving and making people happy in the process. I am grateful for my wife who believed in me and in us to create something of our own. I am grateful for my parents who have supported me through my journey. I am grateful for my Sister who has been such an amazing support when it came down to my Spiritual, Emotional and Mental well-being.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It was anything but smooth, to be honest. My first year of doing business, I remember having multiple breakdowns and questioned if I even made the right decision. It was such a shift from being an employee without having the responsibilities of a Business Owner to all of a sudden, being One. I struggled with pushing myself to work and build our business. I struggled with knowing who to trust to help me and my business grow. I struggled with making money and keeping it. There was a moment where I had to use my points from my credit card to have enough money to pay for our Suppliers. I struggled with my self-worth, my self-esteem, and belief in myself to really create and grow Super Jewelry Co.
Truly, I had to put my old self and un-serving beliefs to death in order to become who I am today.
I am grateful for my journey and I am thankful for my struggles because they are what challenged my character in the best way, even though it did not feel that way at the time.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I know this sounds so cliche, but I would not change or have done anything different. Why?
I truly believe I had to make the mistakes I made, connect with the people I connected with, and feel what I had to feel in order to be who I am today and be where I am today.
My journey building Super Jewelry Co. has been an experience I will always treasure because my mindset changed, it had to change.
