Meet Tessa Lazalde of Costa Mesa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tessa Lazalde.

Hi Tessa, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
In 2018, I was working as a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry with no awareness of my intuitive and psychic gifts. What I did know was that I was incredibly unhappy in my career and needed to explore what I was passionate about. After I was given a metaphorical shove out of my home in LA, I quit my job and moved down to Orange County just a couple months later. I went on a journey of self-discovery and rapidly remembered my gifts as an intuitive once I was brave enough to trust myself and my gut feelings. In 2019, I completed a yoga teacher training in Portugal where I also opened up to my abilities as a medium and gave messages to other trainees from loved ones on the other side. From that moment on, I dove into the world of the unseen and have since delivered thousands of messages to clients all over the world about their lives, their hopes, their dreams, but most importantly teaching others how to listen to their own intuition and psychic senses. I offer reiki healing, astrology readings, and intuitive coaching as a holistic approach to helping clients understand who they are at a deep level, what holds them back in life, and what they need to heal to create a life of their dreams.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting this business and opening up to my abilities has not been a smooth road in the slightest. Owning your psychic senses requires a lot of care and attention including energetic hygiene, emotional awareness, and taking care of your physical body. This was a huge adjustment for me as someone who was very carefree and overly trusting before opening up. Add on top of that starting a business? Lots of struggle! It’s taken a lot of dedication, having the right mentorship and support, and constantly pivoting to what my intuition tells me is next. The irony of being a psychic is that it’s very difficult to be a psychic for yourself. It’s much easier to help other people find their answers.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a psychic medium, reiki healer, and intuitive coach! Most people come to me initially for mediumship readings where I connect to loved ones that have crossed over and provide evidence of their presence to my client. After this initial reading, I will continue to see clients for intuitive coaching and reiki healing, especially those who are “spiritually inclined”. At the end of the day, I help every client experience healing through whatever modality I feel is best. Every session is spirit led, so no two sessions are the same!

Despite my sessions being incredibly powerful and woo-woo, I also make them practical and digestible so that you can use the wisdom in your daily life. I especially love helping people understand how their ancestors and the actions of the generations before them influence their emotional and spiritual health. I’ve found that people often blame themselves for patterns and behaviors (which is great accountability) but don’t always take into account the fact that those behaviors are learned from their parents, grandparents, etc.

People can work with me by booking sessions through my website! I have live readings available on Zoom or sessions with no appointment required where I send channeled messages through an audio recording. I also love doing group readings for multiple people and mini readings for bachelorettes, girls nights, birthday parties and more. I enjoy being guests on other’s podcasts and talking about spiritual topics and helping others learn what I have learned over the last decade.
