Taynay is a beauty entrepreneur who has a love for her clients and the industry. She was born in Northern California and made her way to Southern California in 2003. After studying and working under other technicians she found Winxed in 2014. While owning Winxed, she also operates an online business for high-end hair extensions, www.theglamtrapla.com. Taynay is also working along with her business partner on some innovative ways to attach lashes and hair extensions.

Has it been a smooth road?
Being a lash technician and microblader it is hard when clients go to different technicians and they mess up the work leaving us to fix it. It is hard going back and working over poorly executed work. In the beauty industry, we should pride ourselves on our way. Sometimes all discounts are not worth it.

Winxed is an amazing company we are known for our lashes and microblading. We have a lot of well-known clients from Mandy Moore to Mary J Blige to Malika Haqq to Naomi Campbell. We have done a wide spectrum of people from Bhad Bhabi to Evelyn Lozada. Our clients are our heartbeat and really mean a lot to us. We go not only do at our Beverly Hills location but we also travel to our clients.

A lot of our business has come from referrals and it means a lot. There are a lot of people that do lashes but the time we take with our clients and love we give them sets us apart.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I don’t have any dislikes about Los Angeles. I have been here for 17 years from the Bay Area. And I have been in the business for ten years. Los Angeles has truly been good to me.

I have worked in Westwood, West LA, and Beverly Hills. I love every part of Los Angeles. My client base has followed me from all my salons to my current location.
