Meet Tatiana Paris

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatiana Paris.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Tatiana. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
I come from a zany theatre family! Grew up touring on the road with “The Goose Family” from ages 4-14. Started college as a wee fourteen-year-old and begun my acting training! Along the way, I discovered an obscene love for film in its entirety. I started learning about all aspects of filmmaking and embarked on the simultaneous endeavor of acting, writing, and directing.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road has been tumultuous one indeed! Los Angeles is an amazing wonderland of opportunity, but it’s very difficult to find your place. I struggled with my own sense of inferiority for so long before finding my community of like-minded creatives. Rejection is part of the old’ biz, and that can weigh on you after a while. Having supportive humans is INSANELY crucial to any level of success and happiness.

We’d love to hear more about what you do.
The films I make are all over the place! I love cerebral dramas but off the walls comedies also have a place in my heart. Anything that pushes the female narrative forward is something I want to be a part of.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I don’t personally care about status or money. Although, I think those are lovely things! I think success has more to do with fulfillment. If I’m creating projects I want to create, then I’m succeeding.
