Hi Tal, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I moved to Los Angeles with very little and worked my way up from waiting tables to owning restaurants and nightlife venues. My family background is in construction, so I naturally gravitated toward real estate and renovations. I started managing homes for friends, focused on doing things properly, elevating the experience, and protecting the asset. That evolved into The Maimon Group in 2017, built around discipline, execution, and delivering experiences, not just stays.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been smooth at all. Scaling a hospitality business in Los Angeles means navigating regulations, owner expectations, guest demands, and operational chaos all at once. Early on, I did everything myself: operations, sales, inspections, guest relations. The biggest struggles were learning how to build systems, hold people accountable, and grow without losing quality. Every mistake cost real money and reputation, and that pressure shaped how we operate today.

The Maimon Group is a luxury property management and hospitality company. We manage high-end homes for short-term rentals, long-term stays, events, and filming. We also offer concierge services, private chefs, transportation, and custom experiences. On the owner side, we handle everything from onboarding and permitting to staging, pricing strategy, guest screening, and asset protection.
We specialize in luxury short-term rentals and experiential hospitality. We’re known for handling complex properties, high-profile guests, and situations where precision and discretion matter.

How do you think about happiness?
Building something real. Creating systems, mentoring people, seeing a team execute at a high level, and turning chaos into structure. I enjoy pressure and responsibility because they mean progress. More than anything, I’m driven by exceeding plans and expectations, executing the perfect stay for both guest and owner.
