Today we’d like to introduce you to Shereve Smith
Shereve, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I migrated from Jamaica W.I. 1986 to the United States. I spent 15 years living in New York where I worked in the banking industry and later relocated to Florida where I obtained my degree in Respiratory Care and worked in the industry for 23 years which propelled me to launch my own company Northwood Manor Assisted Living providing care to the elderly for fourteen years. I have now expanded my services and entrepreneurial experiences into the entertainment industry offering magical moments and sequence of events at the French Chateau of Odessa. Venue. My journey has been exciting and I am eager and very motivated exploring future opportunities.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been challenges a long the way, these challenges certainly taught me perseverance . One of the challenges were learning not to give up when faced with obstacles. I learned how to handle financial difficulties when business model struggled with cash flow. Of course when operating a small business these are challenges expected and I have learned and certainly grown in my business strategies to keep consistency even in low business seasons.

Northwood Manor Assisted Living is a business where we provide services and support to the elderly. We provide 24 hours of compassionate care to our residents. Our care is exceptional we ensure that each and every resident experiences compassionate care with respect. We take pride in providing quality care by offering special care by creating a unique experience, Our residents feel welcome the moment they enter our doors they become a big part of our family. We ensure comfort, safety and a peace of mind.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Assisted Living is definitely a growing industry . I see myself expanding in both my assisted living and entertainment industry,
