Meet Rhiannon Morfin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rhiannon Morfin.

Hi Rhiannon, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always had a strong passion for fashion and always loved to style my outfits with a cute hat. I knew for a long time that I wanted to start my own business and spent a year brainstorming different ideas. My goal was to create something that would empower people to be the best version of themselves. I came up with the idea of Rhiya Hat Company because whenever I style a hat with my outfits, I gain a little more confidence and I want other women to feel the same way.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The biggest challenge is running the show alone and wearing all the hats (no pun intended) in order for the company to run. Entrepreneurship has been one of the hardest but most rewarding challenges I have undertaken in my life. I love that it gives me the freedom to dream and create.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Right out of college, I worked on an E-Commerce team for a high-end women’s fashion company – this is where I fell in love with fashion and was drawn to fashion. I knew for a long time I wanted to start my own business, and I knew that it was important to find a need in the market. That’s where my idea with Rhiya Hat Company was created. I wanted to provide women with high-quality, stylish hats that don’t break the bank!

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
When I am not working on Rhiya, I enjoy beach volleyball, live music and I am an avid reader!
