Meet Naomi E. Rahmani M.S., CCC-SLP of Achieve Speech Associates in Encino

Today we’d like to introduce you to Naomi E. Rahmani M.S., CCC-SLP.

Naomi M.S., CCC-SLP opened Achieve Speech Associates in 2013 when she moved back to Los Angeles from Graduate School at Touro College in Brooklyn, NY. It was always a dream of hers to open boutique like private practices in Speech-Language Pathology that serves all populations, including pediatrics, adults and geriatrics. Since she began providing speech-language evaluations and treatments in Los Angeles, she have experienced working with many individuals in the entertainment industry. Some of the clientele include actors/actresses, comedians, singers and professionals such as attorneys, university professors and CEO’s of companies.

Over the past 4 and a half years, their business skyrocketed, by use of social media such as Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. They have done no official paid advertisements, but have been able to expand simply by use of social media and word of mouth. In December of 2017, Achieve Speech Associates expanded to a new office in Encino and in 2018 projects to expand to two new offices in Calabasas and Beverly Hills.

Their goal is to provide individualized and effective speech-language and voice treatments to all age groups.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
As with any business, there are challenges and obstacles that business owners must deal with and learn to grow from. One obstacle for us was to maintain the boutique-like non-commercialized environment of our clinic while being able to hire and expand as a business. Client care is our number 1 priority, however as a business owner we must also focus on the growth and how we may expand our horizons to treat more individuals in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding communities.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Achieve Speech Associates story. Tell us more about the business.
Achieve Speech Associates is speech-language private practice that provides speech, language and voice evaluations and treatments for pediatrics, adults, geriatrics and individuals in the entertainment industry.

Our services include assessments and treatments for articulation errors, language delays, stuttering, auditory processing disorder, voice therapy, LSVT LOUD voice therapy for Parkinson’s Disorder, apraxia, accent modification/reduction and other related disorders.

We are proud to cater services to all populations, including pediatrics, adults and geriatrics. We have provided therapy for many actors/actresses and are often on set with clients, helping them improve their articulation and voice necessary to perform. It is a privilege to also work with attorneys, company owners and professionals to help them use their voice properly, without vocal damage in order to do their work efficiently.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I would have to say that being genuine, honest and fully committed to my work has been my “luck” in being successful at Achieve Speech Associates. I believe in genuine client care and individualized client treatment, which creates great commitment to reach goals.
