Today we’d like to introduce you to Miss Gi Frack RYT, E-RYT , RPYT, YACEP and Nihan T. Uslu.
Miss Gi and Nihan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started teaching yoga as a form of rehabilitation on some personal physical issues I was dealing with.
I learned patience, body awareness levels of self life work and how we are also important to one another.
My love of yoga opened me to teach in different styles of yoga from basic vinyasa to prenatal working with special needs adults children and seniors.
Has it been a smooth road?
I was injured previously, I won’t go into great detail but I’ve had many surgeries to reconstruct an injured shoulder and in the process I learnt so much more about what a person can do in spite of a disability in spite of what is done to you but you cannot control you can turn it around grow from experience and take as much control of what you can and let go of what you cannot.
Working with special needs adults from paraplegic to people in wheelchairs with autism puts everything into perspective so that you can go and be humble and move forward . I work with a woman by the name of Nihan who is special-needs. She has been practicing yoga for five years with me I am her Respert and her companion and she is my assistant and family. Nihon represents to me moving on with life and taking any disability still on your way and make them doorways to success.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Golden Monkey Yoga story. Tell us more about the business.
My company or Golden Monkey Yoga has been offering free community yoga for five years. It’s the way that I get back to anyone that has ever helped me along the way I paying it in forward.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see many changes going on with yoga, yogi’s alliance I would hope that Yoga community remains true to yoga I know that it’s a money maker for many people including myself I need to make a living but that the heart of yoga influencers stays pure.
