Meet Morning Motivation with Gogo & Natasha of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Morning Motivation with Gogo & Natasha.

Gogo & Natasha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It all started on a quiet neighborhood walk in December 2022. The air was crisp, and as Natasha Younge strolled through her neighborhood, a powerful idea wouldn’t let her go. She felt the kind of spark you don’t ignore—the kind that makes you reach for the phone immediately. She called her longtime friend and fellow creative, Gogo Lomo-David.
For years, they had been each other’s sounding board—two actors navigating life, creativity, and purpose in a city that demands reinvention. Their conversations always left them inspired, recharged, and thinking bigger. But this time, the idea was different. It had a heartbeat of its own.

By early 2023, that idea became a reality: a podcast that would uplift, energize, and create space for deeper reflection. They decided to name the podcast Morning Motivation with Gogo and Natasha. They began recording one episode a week, letting the titles lead them into raw, unscripted dialogue. Nothing was prewritten. Just two friends speaking from the heart—sharing stories, laughter, mindset shifts, and personal breakthroughs. What emerged was a journey into self-mastery, transformation, intentional living, and the power of inner work.

Neither Natasha nor Gogo had ever produced a podcast before. But that didn’t stop them. They taught themselves every step—from sound editing and show branding to marketing and promotion. They even planned and styled their own photo shoot, down to the exact location and final shot list. Every detail was fueled by passion and purpose, powered by a belief in their message.

What started as a phone call between friends turned into a global ripple—one conversation at a time.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Behind every polished episode was a battle you never hear in the audio.

As two working professionals in one of the dynamic cities in the world, finding time to record wasn’t as simple as blocking out an hour. It was a constant negotiation with life—calendar clashes, energy limits, and real-world demands that didn’t pause just because a dream was calling.

For Natasha, showing up for the podcast meant navigating more than just scheduling. Throughout the project, she was juggling the heavy, daily realities of chronic illness—quiet, invisible pain that doesn’t announce itself but affects everything. At the same time, she was supporting an aging parent, with all the emotional and logistical weight that brings. There were weeks when consistency felt impossible. Days when exhaustion came before creativity.

And yet, they kept going.

What made it possible wasn’t perfection—it was partnership. The kind of bond rooted in flexibility, humor, and radical acceptance. There was an unspoken agreement between them: Come as you are, but don’t give up. Some weeks required grace. Others demanded grit. Sometimes, they paused for a month to rest, recalibrate, and remind themselves why they started. But they always came back.

Gogo, meanwhile, was facing his own internal war—one many creatives know well. Procrastination was a shadow he had to outrun daily, made harder by the rising tide of his career responsibilities. But having Natasha in his corner—encouraging, nudging, and holding him accountable—was the push he didn’t know he needed. Together, they built not only a podcast but a rhythm that reflected real life: messy, beautiful, and intentional.

And yes—Google Calendar and shared deadlines were lifesavers.

This podcast didn’t happen because life got easier. It happened because they chose to show up anyway.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
