Today we’d like to introduce you to Milan Zoe.
Hi Milan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I began my career in entertainment as a producer at BET. I have always believed that media and entertainment many times are a connecting factor for humanity. That transcends race, culture, religion, monetary status, etc. For this reason, I took an acute interest in it as I thought this would be how I could “change the world” in my own way. While I still believe this to be true and still have a deep love for media, God has shifted my calling to the health and wellness industry. As of this month this year, my health and wellness company has been in operation for four years, and for that I am grateful. Our brick-and-mortar is located in Los Angeles, and we are pivoting into being a product-based business with the launch of or fitness apparel line.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has not I repeat has not been smooth. Still isn’t smooth, but that is the experience of any true entrepreneur. The road is never smooth. Challenges build character, and character is always needed at new levels, so I am appreciative of the struggles I have had along the way.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At our health and wellness center, we have offered a number of services over the years, including but not limited to facials, lashes, and waxing, but we have always specialized in body sculpting. I am most proud not of what we do inside our four walls but of what we do in the community. Over the years, we have hosted a series of events, including financial literacy events, wine and book clubs, fitness events, yoga/sound bath meditations, panels, etc.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happy in helping others. I know it’s cliche, but I truly, truly find joy in giving, I believe where much is given, much is required, and I have been very blessed in my life. I think this is in part because God knows that he can trust me with abundance because I have a heart for others
