Meet Megan Del Haro of Beauty Art Collective in Silverlake

Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Del Hero.

Megan, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started in Beverly Hills as a receptionist at Juan Juan Salon. It all happens when your around talented hair stylists they inspired me to get my cosmetology license. I worked at Juan Juan for 8 years and then decided that I hated the drive and didn’t want to move to the west side. I’ve always loved living on the east side of town #silverlake #ecopark #downtownLA that’s where it’s at!

It’s when I had to start over again is when the hustle was real!!! 6 years and 3 salons later I finally partnered up with a coworker and as of March 1, 2017 Beauty Art Collective Salon is now open. Good way to start the New Year!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s never easy starting over in any self-employed business. I consider myself blessed! It was meant for me to be a hairstylist that I do know.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Beauty Art Collective – what should we know?
Beauty Art Collective is a salon that collaborates with make – up artists, local Artists, and photographs. The salon is available for Photo shoots and short films. As for me I specialize in Color, and Hair Extensions.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Never get to comfortable.
