Meet Maine Simon

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maine Simon.

Maine, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am born and raised in the Bronx, New York I overcame the struggles of a Poverty driven environment. Now an experienced credit specialist, I wasn’t taught financial literacy growing up however after acquiring a job at 13 in the library, I grew a love for books I quickly learned the art of financial literacy and it helped me to better myself for life’s Financial challenges.

By the age of 17, I got my first internship working at the NYSE. I met a gentleman Peter Rhors who taught me the art of trading commodities. The seeds were planted early to understand the importance of leverage and residual income. Now I’m currently a financial educator for a mission-driven Financial Literacy company.

Has it been a smooth road?
Through relocating to LA at an early age, I was forced to become responsible and learn the importance of money management at a young age. I was determined to leave an environment where most of my peers were either playing sports, in the streets or working construction I knew there was more to life than just the neighborhood. I was in LA with no money to my name and worked diligently to make it. Now the road will be long and tough but there is no progress without struggle, feed your faith and starve your doubts.

Alright – so let’s talk business.  What else should we know about you and your career so far?

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
The weather and people are great well establish entrepreneurship is great besides you can to a beach in an hour or in the mountains you’ve got the best of three worlds when you include downtown LA. I really dislike the traffic is so hard to move around one meeting takes up 3 hours of your day, thank God for zoom.
