Liyah Jammeh, the founder of the supplement company DVN ALN and
CO-founder of the marketplace Limitless Living was born and raised in Sweden.
My multicultural background and global experiences have significantly shaped my approach to business and innovation. Growing up in Sweden, I was exposed to the importance of holistic health and well-being from a young age. My country is known for its high quality of life and emphasis on natural health solutions, which laid the foundation for my future endeavors.

My curiosity and desire to learn more about different cultures and health practices led me to travel extensively, gaining insights from various parts of the world and the wellness industry. My journey took me to major cities such as New York City and Los Angeles, where I lived and immersed myself into the vibrant wellness communities, stopped eating meat and learned more about herbal medicine and its impact on healing the body in a natural way. These experiences were pivotal in shaping my understanding of the diverse health needs and preferences of people globally.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My entrepreneurial journey is a testament to resilience, sacrifice, and unwavering focus. Starting with a modest idea, I faced numerous obstacles, including limited resources and a competitive market. Despite these challenges, I remained undeterred, often working long hours and making significant personal sacrifices to pursue my dream. My ability to adapt and learn from each setback allowed me to transform challenges into opportunities. With a clear vision and relentless determination, I focused on my goals, building a business that not only thrives but also inspires others in my community. My story is a powerful reminder that success often comes to those who persevere and stay dedicated to their aspirations, no matter the hurdles.

Motivated by my passion for holistic health and a sharp business acumen, I entered the competitive landscape of supplements and e-commerce in 2022. My vision to empower individuals to achieve healthier lifestyles led me to found DVN ALN, a premium supplement company specializing in natural, scientifically-backed products designed for those with a stylish, modern lifestyle.

Committed to uncompromising quality and transparency, I ensured that DVN ALN quickly gained recognition for its effective formulations, free from fillers or additives. Recognizing the gaps in the supplement industry, where many products lack essential ingredients, I made a deliberate choice to emphasize high-quality, pure, natural ingredients. The company’s minimalist design approach reflects our dedication to transparency and purity in every product.

In just over a year, I’ve expanded our product range to meet diverse health needs, offering supplements like Sea Moss, Bladderwrack, Ashwagandha, and Chlorella. Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up in Sweden, sports played a significant role in my life. From horseback riding at ages 8 to 12, to playing team handball, and dedicating nine years to dancing, I was deeply involved in various athletic pursuits. Early on, I had a strong drive to earn my own money and began working at the age of 14. Throughout my life, I’ve always sought challenges and embraced new adventures in diverse cultures and countries. Travel has been a defining aspect of my journey, starting at 16 when I began exploring the world.

Moving to New York City at the age of 26 to begin college marked my most significant challenge, shaping me into the driven and ambitious woman I am today. Embracing this transformative experience in such a dynamic environment has profoundly influenced my personal and professional growth, instilling a relentless determination to pursue my goals with vigor and resilience.

Living in New York for seven years taught me invaluable lessons about self-discovery, clarifying who I am, and where I want to go. It was during this time that I made a profound decision to break free from familial patterns and embark on the entrepreneurial path, determined to avoid a life of mediocrity. New York’s vibrant energy and relentless pace inspired me to pursue my dreams with passion and purpose, setting the stage for a journey marked by innovation, independence, and personal fulfillment.
