Meet Kaleila Jordan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaleila Jordan.

Kaleila, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have been in performing arts and staying physically active since childhood. I’m a CSULA Theatre Arts and Dance graduate. I’ve trained in theater arts, many dance forms, and I ran track and field. After college, I started to attack dancing and start going out on auditions for tv film and stage jobs. I’ve had the opportunity to work on TV shows, commercials, and work with A list artists like Nicki Minaj, Pharrell Williams, Usher, Wiz Khalifa, and more. I am also a 1st place pro bikini model competitor with the WBFF (World Beauty Fashion and Fitness Inc). As well as having my own classes teaching dance fitness, boot camps, and personal training clients. It has also been a long road of rejection and learning who I am but I always knew what I wanted to do in life and have been on a journey finding new ways to express my art and fulfill my destiny as a dancer, fitness professional, actress and model.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. I have learned to persevere and that with hard work and consistency, I will see the payback. I’ve been told no plenty of times. It can be frustrating but I never let that stop me.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am a professional dancer, dance fitness instructor, fitness and nutrition influencer, model, and actress. The fact that people come to me seeking my help to make them feel better makes me most proud. I have my hands in a few different industries which makes my brand unique because I am an example to young black women to tackle everything they want in life and be someone who is actively helping others in life.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success always feels like joy to me. It’s not just about status, money, or winning. I think if you are truly happy in life then you are successful.
