Today we’d like to introduce you to Jesse J. Guillen.
Jesse, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m celebrity wardrobe stylist and Designer Jesse J. Guillen with” Jesse J Collections “ It all started with a dream and some goals. I took business classes in college to better my knowledge of the business aspect of things.. I’ve always had a passion for fashion and a nice dressing. Both of My grandmothers inspired me.
One who was an amazing Designer and sewer and then another who was all so well dressed and fancy to the “T”… I just never thought I could have a career in fashion and dressing people.. But life is all about taking risks and chances… My first fashion job was working as a visual mech. @ Forever 21.. I knew in my heart and mine set there was sooooo much more out there then retail. I would drive to Hollywood everyday after work just to meet and attend fashion shows and events.
I would take part in anything I could to get my name out there.. I started interning for different wardrobe stylist. My first big job was on NBC “The Voice” in Wardrobe department I got to asst. Erin Hersh would i Learned to much from. I then carry on to doing my own jobs. My work as celebrity wardrobe stylist & Designer as now been seen in every major fashion publication and Tv channels. Such as Grammys, billboards, BET, Vogue, Elle, Cosmo, teen vogue, basic magazine, and fashion police just to name a few.
My work has also been considered for an Emmy with legend Timbaland… As of 2018 I now own a PR showroom called @thetrendhaus and became Co-owner/creative director for Di Moda atelier men’s and women’s clothing brand. All my wild dreams have came to and I’m super Thankful for My life. I encourage everyone to please follow your dreams and your hearts. Remember to always be kind and humble and spread peace and love..
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Some of the struggles I came across in the beginning were trying to get the right clients and celebrity to dress. Also trying to get an agency. Trying to get people to pay you for your services ..building your contacts and resources.

I’m Jesse J. I’m a celebrity wardrobe stylist and designer… I specialize in fashion styling and designing. I’m known for my edgy but unique styling and designing. I’m most proud of ALL my successes and accomplishments. I’m different and unique and I follow myself I’m my own leader and trend setter.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up I was always the life of the party and throwing the best parties. I’ve always dressed very sharp and was popular and prom king. I was always a hard worker. I got my first job and bought my OWN first car at 16 years old. I was always a lady’s man and dated all the hot girls. I was kind and respectful. But I’ve always made many mistakes and learn so much growing up.
