Jennifer, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story begins in television, where I spent more than 25 years producing Emmy-nominated shows and live events. Storytelling has always been my language, whether it was shaping an episode of Shark Tank or guiding a live broadcast.
After decades in entertainment, I noticed a pattern: brilliant professionals and brands had incredible offline credibility but were invisible online. That inspired me to launch Simply JH, my boutique digital marketing agency in Los Angeles.

From our Sawtelle-area studio, I help clients step confidently into the digital space with strategies that combine high-level media training and Emmy-level storytelling.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been anything but smooth—but every twist added to the toolkit I bring to clients. Shifting from TV to digital marketing with SimplyJH.com meant learning new platforms, balancing single motherhood, and adapting Emmy show deadlines into strategies that move the needle online.

The biggest lesson? Consistency over perfection. In both television and marketing, the show must go on. You don’t need a flawless Instagram grid or the fanciest website to start connecting. What matters most is showing up authentically—and that’s the heart of how Simply JH operates.

What matters most to me is impact through storytelling. Whether it was producing television or now building digital strategies, I’ve always believed stories are how we connect, inspire, and move people to action.
