Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenee Boothe.

Jenee, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’ve always been a fan of makeup. Since I was a little girl watching my mom put on her lipstick, I’ve been obsessed with being “girly”. While living in Baton Rouge, LA my hairdresser, noticed that I did my own makeup very well and asked me to do her daughter’s makeup for her prom. I did it, posted the pictures to Facebook, started getting other requests to do makeup and the rest is history. I moved back to NY and continue to provide makeup services.

Has it been a smooth road?
I wish it were a smooth road but challenges are how we learn, grow and perfect our craft. I struggled with self-doubt, questioning if I was good enough to be apart of the industry. I struggled with setting up a business strategy that would benefit both the customer and me. Let’s not forget about dealing with difficult clients. All challenges that I faced head-on. I got a life coach Stefanie the Life Architect, who helped me navigate the difficulties. It is ok to get help with your business.

My business is Jenee Boothe Beauty. I provide makeup services for weddings, events, photoshoots and any other personal reason. My makeup service is top-notch professional. The client can count on me to be punctual, prepared and still slay.
