Meet Jairo Lopez

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Jairo Lopez . Jairo was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Karen Jenifer.

Hi Jairo , we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.
As an only child, my parents provided me with all the love I could ever have. As refugees from Nicaragua, all they ever wanted was for their son to grow up to be a professional in the United States. My parents’ desire to witness my academic success motivated me to pursue a higher education. After attending UCLA for both my undergraduate and graduate education, I was finally able to achieve both my personal and parents’ dream of becoming an attorney. I am currently In-House Counsel for a successful and thriving non-profit corporation. My goal is to help others achieve their dreams just like my parents help me achieve my dreams.

Please tell us more about your brand, Lawyer at a private firm
As In-House Counsel, I am tasked with providing legal support to the non-profit corporation that I work for. I handle all employment, corporate, and transactional matters for this company.

So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Karen Jenifer and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Karen.
I serendipitously came across Karen’s social media page and discovered that she produced terrific art work. I was immediately captivated by her artwork. My fiance and I recently experienced the loss of our family dog- Butters. Since his passing, my fiance and I have sought to keep his memory and presence alive. As such, I thought there would be no better way than to memorialize his presence via a portrait.

I contacted Karen to inquire whether she was interested in preparing a portrait of our beloved butters. Karen responded to me within minutes and asked specifically and poignant questions regarding the dimensions of the portrait, the style of the portrait, and its tone. Within days of sending Karen my desired portrait photograph of butters, she began sending progress photos of the portrait. Karen finished and delivered the portrait within a week of my request. Karen’s portrait evoked so much emotion and life. She truly captured butters’ spirit. My fiance and I could not have been happier with the portrait.
