Meet Jade Morning of Personal Training and Health Coaching

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jade Morning.

Hi Jade, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story as a personal trainer and health coach started after losing myself in my early 20s. I had gained over 50lbs, switched collegiate major for the 3rd time, and was ultimately going through the motions. I had no passion for anything other than my social life.

Once I realized I was sulking in my sadness, I became dedicated to being my best self. I removed all distractions, focused on being disciplined, and created different HIIT routines that I could do in my living room. I started sharing my workouts online and realized how many people enjoyed the challenge and wanted more. I immediately earned my PT certificate and began entrepreneurship in 2019. I believe that you’ll be met with opportunities when you step into your passion. I kept an open mind, accepted the challenge, and showed up in each new space as if I belonged there.

That energy still hasn’t left me; if anything, I’ve been able to nurture and cultivate that energy for my community and myself. Today, I personal train and health coach full time, sell online programs and am the owner of Equanimity Athletics, which helps bring peace back into our community. Through group workouts and different kinds of social fitness events. I have enjoyed working and modeling for different fitness and wellness apps and can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2023!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey has been smooth only because I see every failure or setback as an opportunity to learn. Covid halted my PT business because of all of the gym closures. I was training out of my 800 ft apartment in the meantime. LOL

I also realized that fitness outdoors would be essential during this transitional phase. I began training and hosting at the Culver City and Santa Monica stairs!

We have taken a ton of losses with the athletic company, but if you don’t try, you’ll never know. I believe in my journey and remove myself from any expected outcomes.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Personal Training and Health Coaching?
As mentioned earlier, my business started in June 2019. My workouts and programs bring motivational magic combined with a severe sweat. My methodology is the perfect culmination of strength, plyometric, and HIIT training that will keep you on your toes.

I specialize in having big motivational and inspiring energy. I lead in everything I do and am known for being the fitness fairy everyone needs to get back on track. My work ethic sets me apart; I’m a fitness junkie and a businesswoman with my hands and feet in multiple business endeavors. I’m proud of the results and relationships I create with my clients. I’m pleased to be able to help a broad spectrum of women aging for 13-60.

My services encourage you to be your best self from the inside out. It’s my job to make these new changes simple but exciting. I want each client to leave me feeling educated, enlightened, empowered, and supported.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
If you know me, you know that I’m a huge risk-taker and encourage others to exercise their risk-taking muscles constantly! My early 20s have been filled with risks, and although with age, you move with a different regard, I don’t regret anything!

My first risk was realizing my life in SoCal wasn’t serving me; this was pre-personal training era when I was struggling with weight loss. I decided to change my environment and move 1500 miles away to Hawaii. People thought I was crazy, but I knew I needed to heal.

Three years later, my most significant risk was moving back to LA after just visiting for a nephew’s delivery. I felt the fast pace again, and as a new business owner, I thought I needed to stay. I called and quit my job and schooling back in Hawaii and began coaching volleyball and personal training in west LA immediately.
