Meet Isaac Escobar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaac Escobar.

Isaac, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey as a photographer started off as just your average person with a camera phone. Slowly I started to add filters and using camera apps. Then I met some people who inspired me and suggested for me to invest in a camera. They thought I had a vision for photography. With that, I invested in a starter kit. Since then, it’s been a passion of mine that has led me to some pretty cool opportunities. I never knew that by simply taking a picture with an old iPhone would ever lead to some of the small accomplishments that I’ve had.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would say that it has had its ups and downs like everything in life does. I feel since it’s been more of a hobby and love for the art of it the downs have been very few. Occasionally I don’t feel as inspired to pick up my camera but other times, it’s the opposite where I just want to go out and shoot. The main struggle for me and maybe anyone out there was wanting to get “good” fast. To this day, I feel as if I still have a lot to learn and get better which is the beauty of it.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Photography for me is more of a hobby letting me express myself and to get out of the norm. I’ve done some work periodically but never have done it or really chased it as a profession. I do enjoy the work that I have gotten a chance to participate in. I’m proud of the work and effort I put in with every shot I take.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I believe success is basically the outcome of what you put in. Every success story is different due to what you are counting on being successful for and why.
