Meet Dione Rachelle of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dione Rachelle

Hi Dione, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
From a young age, I’ve always been driven by a passion for helping others and a sense of being different. My distinctive style, outspoken nature, and unique worldview have always set me apart. This confidence has fueled my dedication to helping women feel beautiful in their natural bodies, regardless of societal expectations and media portrayals.

In 2020, I experienced a life-changing loss when my older brother passed away. This profound event made me realize my true purpose: to make a difference in the world. Motivated by my new found view of life, I created my clothing brand, Dione Rachelle, while working my 9-5 job during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dione Rachelle is more than just a name, It’s my brand, It symbolize empowerment, self-love, and confidence. Through both my personal brand and clothing line, Dione Rachelle, I aim to inspire and uplift women, encouraging them to embrace their natural beauty and inner strength.

In 2021, I moved from my hometown in West Virginia to Los Angeles to pursue my dreams. My journey has reinforced my belief that everyone deserves the confidence to chase their dreams, no matter what others may think. You only have one life, and you should never let anyone’s opinions hold you back – I’m sure not.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, It hasn’t been a smooth road living here in Los Angeles but I continue to keep going everyday. I know that I moved here for a reason, to make a difference in others lives. When it comes to wanting to help the homeless as much as I can, Helping women here in LA build the confidence that they need to become successful. Building communities with other like minded women to uplift each other as a whole. My goal one day is to have my own women shelter organization and give back as much as I can with my clothing brand that represents women empowerment, confidence, and self love.

I have came across numerous struggles along my journey here in Los Angeles. For example, finding a sustainable job within my career, Finding the right people to surround myself with. Not getting sucked into the wrong things, there are days where I don’t feel motivated but still wake up everyday and try my best. Knowing that my brother is watching me every step through the way and constantly show the signs that he is guiding me. Along, with making my family proud back in West Virginia.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I have always had an innate passion for interior design, a love that began in my childhood. This passion blossomed as I helped family and friends remodel homes back in West Virginia. I decided to bring my expertise to Los Angeles, staging homes in Malibu and throughout LA area, transforming spaces into breathtaking homes.

Graduating from West Virginia University with a Design Studies degree in December 2020 stands as one of my proudest achievements. Also, picking up everything and leaving my hometown to purse my dreams. My journey took a signifiant turn three years ago when I made it a goal to move to LA a year from my brothers passing on October 18th, 2020 to spread his ashes on the beach. A place where I go to feel at peace and have now made it a tradition to celebrate his birthday every year on June 28th.

For the past three years, I feel that I have been an influential voice for women empowerment. My belief in living life authentically and embracing one’s unique self is the driving force behind my advocacy. This extends to my clothing brand, “DIONE RACHELLE,” which epitomizes my essence as a woman and showcases my vision of individuality and strength.

What sets myself apart is my distinct perspective on life. I have always viewed life differently, seeing beyond the confines of a 9-5 existence. Knowing that there is so much more to life, My journey and experiences have instilled in my belief that comparison is unnecessary, and authenticity is paramount. I feel that you should always strive to be yourself and keep in mind that you only have one life so live it to your fullest potential.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters the most to me is My family and empowering individuals around me. I have always been the heart of my family. The one who keeps everyone together and strives to be there for everyone. My family is part of my motivation and constantly remind me of my Why.

Empowerment is the cornerstone of my mission because I believe that every individual, particularly women, deserves to feel confident, valued, and beautiful in their own skin. In a world where societal pressures and media often dictate unrealistic standards of beauty and success, empowering individuals to embrace their true selves is crucial. Empowerment leads to self-love, resilience, and the courage to pursue one’s dreams without fear of judgment.
