Meet Danielle Seals of Runway Ready

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Seals.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Danielle. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Started working in retail at the age of 13 at Parties Records/too store management of The lark Clothing store… 2006, I stepped out on faith and quit my corporate job and started my own biz Fashionable Addictions now known as runway ready was a single mother from Englewood that always had a passion for fashion.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Absolutely not. Running your own biz is a struggle in itself from trusting employees. Making sure you are targeting the right audience, bookkeeping and more.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Runway Ready story. Tell us more about the business.
I specialize in women’s clothing! We cater to every woman, mostly every size and all budgets. I’m proud of how long I’ve been in business and the relations I have built with my clients! They trust me! I’m now styling most of their children now. The coloring book I just launched and the quality of clothing as we carry other small local brands in store.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Having big energy and knowing that my children are watching has kept me afloat in biz. I also have started branding classes to help other small brands.
