Meet Danielle Jensen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Jensen.

Hi Danielle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My boyfriend at the time and I had just moved to New Jersey because he had a job offer, once we had moved there I had turned thirty with nothing but time and greenery around me. I had always loved doing hair so I enrolled in cosmetology school part-time and became a full-time makeup artist. The relationship didn’t last but my career in the beauty industry did!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest struggle for me is moving. I moved from New Jersey to Texas to California. They all require different numbers of education hours, how long you have had your license, the list goes on. I’ve tested and passed in all three states safe to say!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a hairstylist. I guess you can say I specialize in razor cutting.

How do you define success?
Success is a feeling. When you are happy and content. The love and generosity between humanity. When you can change a person’s day, that makes it worth it. Sometimes you can feel they need your words or a hug.
