Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Erves.
Danielle, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
In college, I was set on becoming a sports agent. Once it began to look like that wasn’t an option, an advisor of mine suggested I explore Public Relations and it turned out I would love the industry. At my first internship after graduating, I given a task to manage this little platform called Twitter. Our client didn’t think much of it at the time but thought it was best to cover our bases. I had found the intersection of Public Relations and Social Media Marketing and I knew I wanted to continue. I left that company and moved to LA, where I harnessed my skills and decided to start my company, Erves Consulting, in 2016.
Has it been a smooth road?
When I started my company, I had no potential clients in sight and no real idea on how to get them, especially without alerting my boss. I heard about a one-time 3-month course I could take and was lucky enough to be offered a discount, so I took my savings and signed up. The entire time I was afraid I had different doubts: I wasted my savings, this wasn’t applicable to my business, and more. I decided to trust myself and give it my full effort.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Erves Consulting – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Los Angeles is great. I am an Oakland native and never thought I would live here. I love the opportunities that are available here, personally and professionally. Los Angeles also has hidden gems areas that are so rich in culture, which reminds me a lot of the Bay Area. It’s always an enriching experience. Los Angeles is such a commuter city. You have to drive everywhere (if you want to get there in a reasonable amount of time), leaving the area a little disjointed. I wish there was a central place for everyone here.
