Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Perez.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’ve always wanted to create a clothing brand that represented the Southern California lifestyle and I decided to take the first step towards that dream becoming a reality in 2017. The story behind my brand revolved around the lifestyle I grew up with which was heavy influenced by hip hop, skating, graffiti, sneakers and other thing that represent L.A all these made me want to create a brand that could express that lifestyle and I wanted to share it with others.

I felt like the palm tree was the best representation of what L.A is and I incorporated that into my brand and it was a perfect match once I saw the big palm tree logo surrounded by the old English font letters reading Evil Palm Mfg. Co. it was like a perfect marriage. I always knew my brand was going to grow and with a lot of hard work and dedication I was able to turn an idea into a reality and it has been worth it specially when you receive the support from others and see them wear something you created its a feeling of I would never trade for anything in the world.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t all been as easy as I thought it was going to be! there’s been many challenges and up and downs and late nights thinking of ways to get out there and great a following. I can definitely say that when you really love something and believe in it everything is possible and I had a lot of support and help and that pushed me to not give up and quit on my brand.

My brand is Evil Palm Mfg. Co. and it is a clothing brand based out of L.A and we specialize in creating a product that represents a lifestyle. There’s many clothing brands out there but what makes us different is that when you wear our T-shirt your not just wearing piece of clothing you are representing a piece of culture you could be a skater, artist, musician, rock star, athlete, etc. but when you wear our brand your letting the world know your from best city in the world and that is Los Angeles.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Many people deserve credit specially my supporters the first people that believed in me and wore my brand proudly. My girlfriend has always been by my side and she’s always supportive and helping me out with ideas and pushing me to stay on top. Lastly, my son my number one supporter and my motivation no better feeling in the world than when I see him wear my shirts and him telling his friends that’s my dad’s brand.
