Meet Craig Lowe of Carson/ Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Craig Lowe

Hi Craig, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Craig Lowe Jr. I am 37 years old, born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Although I was raised in Los Angeles, I spent most of my childhood and adult years in Carson, California. I am the eldest sibling to two younger sisters. We are a God-fearing family, who are raised in the church. My father pastors our church home. Although I am a product of a married Christian family, I ended up turning to the streets of Carson. During the era of my gang affiliation, I’ve encountered many things good and bad. I’ve lost a lot of close friends, I’ve done jail time, and I’ve been in situations that could have ended my life. But by God’s grace, I have turn my life around. After being released from jail in 2021, I made the decision to change for good. I have held a full-time job since my release. I am a new father to a two year-old son who adores me and I love so much. Becoming a
father has opened my heart is so many ways, especially helping the youth. It is very important to me to become and continue being a positive pillar in my community. Recently, I’ve partnered with my childhood friends from 2Hunned Inc, which is a nonprofit organization who provides goods and services to the community. Which has motivated me to start my own nonprofit organization one day. Since working together, we have offered many food drives/giveaways, back to school backpack giveaways, and community days for the city of Carson. I have also had the privilege of providing Christmas gifts during Christmas giveaways that me and my other partners have been blessed to provide to the community as well. During this venture on this path, I hope to help as many unprivileged families as possible. I really want to thank God for allowing me the honor and privilege to follow my calling by being a
blessing to others, and to continue to thrive and remain ambitious and humble in every step of the way.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Being in jail was my worst struggle along the way. But being in jail gave me this major motivation to push toward my goals that I have in my life. I would say if it wasn’t for me going to jail, I would probably be on the same path as I was before being incarcerated.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
In five years, set aside from the work that I volunteer with my partners from 2Hunnid Inc. I imagine that I would have established my own non profit organization by then. I would hope to have gained some important business relationships and or mentors to help me excel in my plans. I am also a music manager who manages a great talented artist. I want to be able to manage more artists, and introduce myself to new level of success in the music industry as well. My ultimate goal is to spread the word of God and love to the people. Because that’s what has gotten me through a lot.
