Meet Brianna Escamilla of Lakewood ,Ca

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Escamilla.

Brianna , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always loved photos. When I was growing up in the 90s, even though we didn’t have cell phones, I always had a disposable camera with me. On a Sunday morning you could definitely catch me at the 24 hour photo developing our camera from the night before. I have albums upon albums of photos and not just me but my mom and my grandmother are the same way. Just piles and piles of books before digital took over. I’m never a person to pass up a Photobooth whether it’s at a movie theater, a carnival or a bowling alley. One day when we were planning my grandmother’s 80th birthday I started to shop around and inquire to rent a Photobooth. What was a vision to do it myself turned into a business. I’ve spent hundreds and hundreds of hours of time and dedication. Researching to learn everything I know now. I’m still learning every single day. What started out as something I was planning to do maybe once or twice a month has now turned into a fully booked calendar. We started with a small backyard parties. Now we’re booking weddings and corporate events far in advance. Ask somebody who’s always trying to get the most thing for my buck. I take pride and providing the best set up. I can at the most affordable price.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I would say that starting this business has not been the easiest thing I’ve ever done. Starting a business in 2026 is definitely expensive and trying to start one in California with the extra loopholes makes it even more difficult.
Anybody can purchase equipment, but trying to learn this equipment including how it functions, and what to happen when something goes wrong has been crazy and I’m still learning every day.
Fortunately, in 2026 there’s a lot of online resources that help.
One of the biggest struggles is trying to get your foot in the door in an industry where there’s already a lot of people and make a way for yourself. You definitely have to be OK with putting your pride aside on putting yourself out there especially on social media. I think that’s where I have the most success is trying to be real and keep it real.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The one thing I love about this business is the personal interactions I get with people. I specialize in providing a professional fun experience where we focus in customer service and also providing an affordable service.
The thing that set our Photobooth apart from others is our interactions. Right now as small company I get one on one conversations with my client to make sure they’re getting exactly what they want. We provide customized templates, and perfectly coordinated set ups where we pay attention to detail.
I’ve always loved photos.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Surprisingly enough Facebook groups specifically relating to my software has been extremely helpful. Also, TikTok is definitely resourceful and helpful.
I feel like there’s so much information out there so instead of trying to pioneer your own path, look at those that have been there before you and learned from them.
