Meet Brandon Curiel of Brandon Bill$ in Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Curiel.

Brandon, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was born in Yonkers in New York City. I moved to Miami and went to middle school out there. I went to high school in Orlando and played for the baseball team. After high school, I got into cutting hair in the barbershop which led me into moving to California where I started cutting artists and etc. I became a celebrity barber where I got introduced into the studio life cutting Travis Scott Eric Bellinger and a whole bunch of artist. I grew a rep of being one of the best barbers in California. I feel in love with the studio life and watching artist create music so I went for it and it was successful for me because I discovered a talent I had.

Has it been a smooth road?
It’s been smooth and difficult but its part of the story! I’m an independent artist so I don’t have funds behind me. I’ve always had to hustle and get it myself. As you know it cost a lot to invest into this music But its all worth it. Before I moved to California, I lost everything my house my car my money because I got myself into a situation which led to me getting into some trouble. But i was able to start fresh all over in la and build everything back! At the end of the day, it’s more to talk about and shows the sacrifice I’ve put into this dream I’m chasing!

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
Well, my business company is Brandon Bill$! I’m an artist songwriter entertainer! I specialize in giving different melodies flows cadences that catch the ear and with full of energy! I’m known for my melodies and dope lyrics I freestyle in my music. I’m most proud of that I’m able to create my own music ideas harmonies melodies and flows naturally organically without trying just having fun with it. I’m also proud that I’m able to collab with different producers and writers. Always open to listen to new ideas and put into my music if I feel it. What sets me apart from others is I can do both sides of the music Latin and English. I bring a different sound and add Unique sauce to my music!

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Of course, this business is all about who you know having relationships networking and building with different people in the same field you’re in this industry! La is great for that and is full of opportunities so always be ready because you never know what position la can put you in! What can be improved in la is people being more real and authentic but at the end of the day people are here for business and not to become best friends. Now, if you end up being cool and a good friend afterwards then thats great. But gotta make sure you handle business first.
