Meet Anastasia Fox of AnaFoxBeauty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anastasia Fox.

Hi Anastasia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Hi, and thank you so much for asking this question. I’m truly honored to share my journey with Voyage LA readers. It’s a pleasure to reflect on the path that led me into the beauty industry and to where I am today.
My name is Anastasia, and I’m the founder of AnaFoxBeauty in Woodland Hills.
My journey into beauty began long before it became my profession. As a child growing up in Europe, I was fascinated by beauty rituals. My older cousins were my first inspiration. I watched them prepare for special occasions, apply facial masks, care for their skin, and move through those moments with intention and elegance. There was no internet then. Beauty lived in real life, in ritual, and in magazines.
I collected fashion and beauty magazines from the 1990s and early 2000s, studying faces, skin, and glow. I remember wondering how these women looked so radiant. Years later, while attending beauty school, a realization shifted everything for me: people like me create that beauty. In that moment, my path became undeniable.
In 2006, I officially began my journey in the beauty industry.
I received my foundational education in Europe, training across multiple countries and learning a deeply holistic, technique-driven approach to skincare. European esthetics taught me precision, ritual, and respect for the skin barrier long before those concepts became mainstream. Later, I immigrated to the United States and continued my education, earning certifications and expanding my clinical knowledge to meet U.S. standards. I believe education never ends, and I continue to invest in advanced training, blending European techniques with modern science and holistic practices.
Before becoming a full-time esthetician, I worked as a nurse. That experience shaped everything I do. It taught me anatomy, safety, responsibility, and how to truly care for people, not just their skin. Starting over as an immigrant was not easy. I rebuilt my career from the ground up while adapting to a new culture, new systems, and a new market. I took risks, trusted my intuition, and stayed committed to quality over shortcuts. Every challenge refined my vision and strengthened my purpose.
Today, AnaFoxBeauty is more than a studio. It is a ritual space.
My approach blends clinical knowledge, organic skincare, lymphatic techniques, and energy-based healing. I specialize in treatments that restore the skin while calming the nervous system. Clients come to me not only for visible results, but for how they feel when they leave grounded, radiant, and renewed. My philosophy is simple: the skin reflects the internal state of the body and mind. When we treat both, true transformation happens.
In addition to hands-on work, I am also a product founder. I developed an FDA-registered mineral sunscreen formulated with intention, safety, and integrity, as well as my signature Golden Goddess Glow Facial Oil, designed to nourish, protect, and enhance the skin’s natural radiance. Each product reflects my belief in clean formulations, purposeful ingredients, and real results.
One principle has guided my entire career: never chase trends, master foundations. When you truly understand skin, anatomy, and human connection, everything else becomes an enhancement rather than a distraction. This philosophy shapes how I work with clients and how I mentor other professionals.
Looking ahead, I am continuing to expand AnaFoxBeauty as a luxury holistic brand through education, product development, and mentorship. My vision is to elevate the esthetics industry by honoring both science and soul, and to inspire women to build careers rooted in excellence, confidence, and authenticity.
If I could speak to my younger self, I would say this: trust your vision. You are not behind. Every experience is preparing you for something greater. And to other beauty professionals, I want to say your story matters. Your hands carry power. Build slowly, stay true, and never underestimate the impact you have on another person’s life.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No… It has not been a smooth road. One of my biggest challenges was learning to find my voice, literally and figuratively.
When I immigrated to the United States, I did not speak English. That limitation affected everything. It made it difficult to find work, communicate confidently, and feel seen for who I truly was and what I was capable of. I often felt underestimated, not because I lacked ability, but because I lacked language.
While attending college in Brooklyn, New York, I was hired for an internship at a pest control company as a telemarketer. I remember being genuinely surprised they hired me. The job required calling people, speaking on the phone, selling services, and booking appointments all in English. I kept thinking, How did they hire me when I don’t even speak English well? Every morning, I got off the train in Bensonhurst and walked to the office. Every single day I was crying. I was scared, overwhelmed, and full of doubt. But as I walked, I kept talking to myself and saying, This is what will bring me to the next level. This discomfort is shaping me. This is how I grow.
That experience became a turning point. It taught me resilience, courage, and self-trust. It showed me that confidence is built through action, not before it. Learning to show up before feeling ready changed my life.
Today, finding my voice even when it was imperfect is one of my greatest strengths. Those early challenges shaped the woman, healer, and business owner I am today, and they continue to guide how I support others who are still learning to trust their own voice.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about AnaFoxBeauty ?
My business is AnaFoxBeauty. I created it for people who give a lot of themselves and need a place where they can finally receive.
So many of my clients are strong, capable, and constantly taking care of others. They come to me feeling tired, overstimulated, and disconnected from their own bodies. My work is about slowing everything down. I combine organic facials, advanced skincare, massage, and holistic techniques to help the skin reset and the nervous system soften.
What makes my work different is how present it is. I don’t rush, I don’t follow templates, and I don’t treat people like appointments. Every session is personal. Clients often tell me they didn’t realize how much they needed this kind of care until they experienced it.
AnaFoxBeauty is not about trends or quick fixes. It’s about feeling held, restored, and leaving in a different state than you arrived. That’s what I’m most proud of creating.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
When I first moved to Los Angeles, I was genuinely fascinated. I love the nature here the ocean, the mountains, the light, and the space. It makes everyday life feel like a vacation, even on busy days. Being surrounded by so much natural beauty gives me energy and inspiration, and it honestly feels like it shifts my frequency in a positive way. There’s something about Los Angeles that invites creativity, growth, and reinvention.
What I find most challenging is witnessing the level of homelessness. It’s heartbreaking to see so many people struggling, and it’s something that reminds me how important compassion, community, and support systems are. I hope the city continues moving toward solutions that offer dignity, care, and real opportunities for those in need.
