Max Shamooil’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

Max Shamooil shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Max, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Integrity.
Integrity is the foundation of legacy. It’s the quiet force behind every decision, every relationship, and every story worth telling. Intelligence can build empires, energy can move mountains—but without integrity, they crumble. Integrity is what remains when the spotlight fades. It’s the promise you keep when no one’s watching, the standard you uphold when it’s inconvenient, and the truth you carry even when it costs you. In the end, it’s not just about what you achieve—it’s about how you achieved it.

If you have INTEGRITY, nothing else matters. If you don’t have INTEGRITY, nothing else matters.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Sure, regarding our products, not all tequilas are created equal.
NUDA is the only tequila in the world to earn Mexico’s CRT ‘Royal Premium’ designation. A fusion of Persian soul and Mexican tradition—crafted for those who sip with intention.
Building NUDA TEQUILA has been a journey of heritage, hustle, and heart. From ceramic bottles to CRT prestige, every detail matters.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Lie — Truth
What breaks the bonds between people? Lies. What restores them? Truth. It’s that simple—and that profound. I’ve lived it. In life, in business, in the quiet moments that define character. A lie doesn’t just distort facts—it erodes trust, and trust is the currency of every meaningful relationship. But truth, even when it’s uncomfortable, is a gift. It’s the beginning of healing, of reconnection, of legacy. I’ve learned that truth spoken with humility can rebuild what was broken. It’s how I lead, how I build NUDA TEQUILA, and how I honor the people who walk this journey with me. Truth is the bridge back to each other.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering strips away illusions. It forces reflection, revealing what truly matters—values, relationships, purpose.
Success might build confidence, but suffering builds endurance. It shows you what you can survive, even when you thought you couldn’t. When everything falls apart, you realize how little control you truly have.
Suffering often clarifies what you’ve been avoiding. It forces decisions, confronts truths, and reveals the cost of staying stuck.
“Suffering taught me what success never could: that perseverance is more than ambition—it’s faith. Faith that even in the darkest moments, there’s a light waiting. NUDA was born from that belief. Every bottle carries not just heritage and craft, but the quiet defiance of not giving up.”

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
Smart people often get it wrong in surprisingly human ways—because intelligence doesn’t immunize anyone from bias, overconfidence, or emotional blind spots.
Being smart doesn’t mean being right. Many intelligent people fall into the trap of thinking their intellect shields them from error.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Absolutely. Never done things to be praised by other people, rather making sure it is the right thing to do and it is my best.
