Hi Yvon, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Let me start by sharing my educational background which comprises a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Accountancy, both from UC Irvine. Growing up, I was never really exposed to the concept of “passion” and thus, it was never a driving force for me.

During my time in graduate school, I picked up a side hustle – Lip Blush. At first, it was merely a means of earning some extra income. However, as I began to practice and hone my skills, I discovered a newfound love for it. I found myself working for free, driven purely by the desire to improve and excel at what I was doing. Despite this, I was still uncertain if this was my true passion.

It was only when I received testimonials from clients about the profound impact Lip Blush Tattoo had on their lives that I truly realized my passion for it. I never imagined that something as simple as a Lip Tattoo could have such a transformative effect on someone’s life. The joy and gratitude that I felt while reading those testimonials surpassed any monetary reward.

This realization has been nothing less than inspiring for me. It has taught me the power of following your passion and how it can positively impact not just your life but the lives of those around you.

From the start of my career, I loved sharing my thoughts and ideas about Lip Blush and Neutralization with my friends and colleagues. As time passed, my passion for these topics grew stronger, and I realized that I wanted to become a Lip Blush PMU Trainer.

As a trainer, I am committed to offering my students the support and resources that I wished I had when I was starting out. I am dedicated to helping my students succeed, and my devotion to their training and success has led me to become a PMU Coach.

My new Lip Blush PMU Coaching Program is more than just a course. It is a commitment to my student’s personal and professional growth. I am here to guide, assist, and support them in every possible way. When challenges arise, I will be there to offer motivation and hope.

My ultimate goal as a PMU Trainer and Coach is to create an environment where my students feel confident, valued, and supported as unique individuals. To me, they are not just numbers but people with hopes, dreams, and aspirations. I want to inspire and empower them to achieve their goals and change their lives for the better.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The path to success was far from easy, but I am grateful for the opportunity that Daily Station Rentals provided me to kick-start my career and build my portfolio. Despite driving back and forth between San Jose and Orange County to offer my services, I persevered. My first “office” was nothing but Target Acrylic Container Storage Boxes, but I upgraded to a shelf in my friend’s studio and after a year of hard work, I was finally able to lease my own studio.

In the beginning, I spent long hours tattooing clients for 10-12 hours per day, followed by another 3-4 hours on content and social media marketing once I got home. I only allowed myself 1 or 2 days off per month. My drive to succeed and improve as an artist to the best of my ability was the key to my success.

Reflecting on my past experiences, I realized that dedicating countless hours to work had a negative impact on my mental well-being. As I grow and expand my business through coaching and e-commerce, managing various tasks can be challenging. But, I have learned from my past and now prioritize self-care and mental health. By efficiently managing my time, I am able to achieve my goals while also taking care of myself. Remember, prioritizing your mental health is crucial to achieving success.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
As a Lip Blush Tattoo Artist, I find my greatest inspiration in the transformative power of my craft. My specialty lies in the art of Dark Lip Neutralization, where I use my Personalized Lip Neutralization Technique and Expertise in Color Theory to achieve precise results that my clients can be proud of. Nothing brings me greater joy than seeing the healed results of my work, which are always tailored to match my client’s unique color request.

In addition to being an accomplished artist, I am also a passionate PMU Educator. Through my Beginner Lip Blush Training and Experienced Lip Blush PMU Coaching, I aim to inspire and empower other artists to discover their own unique styles and techniques.

Lastly, I believe my values and ethics are what make me stand out from the rest. They guide me in everything I do, and I hold myself accountable to them in all aspects of my work. I believe in conducting business with honesty, transparency, and fairness, and I will never resort to unethical practices such as false advertising or putting profits above quality service.

As an educator, I don’t just focus on helping my students succeed in their careers but also on instilling in them the importance of integrity and ethics.

For me, true success is not just about making money but also about staying true to your values, constantly improving yourself, and making a positive impact on others. By continuously improving my skills and knowledge, I can provide my clients and students with the exceptional service and experiences that they deserve. I truly believe that if you focus on self-growth and improvement, success will come naturally.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Before embarking on my Lip Blush Journey, I lacked skills in makeup and art, and I never considered myself a creative person. Although I don’t have an inspiring backstory for why I joined the PMU Industry, my journey demonstrates that with commitment and perseverance, anyone can pursue PMU. Let my experience encourage you to chase your dreams, no matter how daunting they may seem!

When I reflect on my personality, I realize that I am quite introverted. It’s funny to think that I chose Lip Blush as my profession because it required the least amount of talking. Little did I know that this path would lead me to become a passionate Artist & Educator. Now, whether I am conversing with clients, students, or fellow artists, I find myself speaking about Lip Blush and PMU endlessly. It’s amazing to see how one small decision can lead to a fulfilling and inspiring career.

One of my most significant goals this year is to champion mental health. I personally struggle with PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, and ADHD, and there was a time when I felt ashamed and embarrassed by my condition, fearing that it might be considered “attention-seeking.” However, the past year has enlightened me to the prevalence of mental health issues, with many people suffering silently or without diagnosis. I want to create a safe and welcoming environment for those who feel lost or alone to approach me. I have been at rock bottom myself, and I would never wish that kind of suffering on anyone. I aspire to inspire people to seek help and to know that they are not alone.
