Today we’d like to introduce you to Vladimir Simic.

Hi Vladimir, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve been doing my job since I was 17! I am a recognized and well-known hairdresser in the whole country of Serbia/Belgrade! I’ve worked on TV projects, and music videos… I’ve created covers like Elle, Cosmopolitan, Amica and many others. Working with singers and actors… In 2018, I decided to come to America and start my career in Los Angeles… Where I worked on the most diverse projects. Today I’m Brad Abassadorn of the brand ECRU NY

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Of course, nothing in life is easy… But if you do what you love, then everything is easier… Persistence, a goal and not giving up… has always been my motto.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a hair stylist, and I have been working as a hairdresser for 21 years! I graduated from High School for Hairdressing in Serbia! It’s a job I want to do and I’m very happy about it! My profession brought me incredible experiences, as well as acquaintances with different people from all professions… I tried to be an inspiration through my career and to teach young people who want to become hairdressers! If I can single out what I am proud of, it is my three hairstyle shows that were of a humanitarian nature because we collected money for orphans…

What does success mean to you?
For me, success is when you do a job you love.
