Today we’d like to introduce you to Talbot Kuper.
Hi Talbot, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I had a shop with partners locally then moved North for a year to start a different shop. When I got back my friend who owns the store I am located in approached me with the idea of putting a small Barbershop where his wood shop used to be and It went from there.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Challenges of course came along the way with the overlap in time between leaving something and starting a new but by staying positive and in acceptance there will always be the right people in your life and plenty to go around to propel success.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I have both a cosmetology and barber license so I believe this back ground makes me more well rounded. Meaning I am able to understand the difficult language of describing a haircut style and applying a guest’s vision into reality. For that reason I specialize in haircutting in any style. Having said that, I am partial to traditional turn of the 20th century styles all around. They are just fun to do.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I work in business management and I am a professional drummer. I realize what an unusual combination that is.
