Today we’d like to introduce you to Rosey McBride
Hi Rosey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Since I was a little girl, being a teacher fell into the top three choices if asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Fueled by my passion for learning, I landed a position as a volunteer at my local elementary school in my community, moved on to becoming a k-12th grade substitute teacher, to now being a full time elementary teacher with 20 plus years of experience.
My journey has been nourished by my passion for learning and a commitment to inspiring others. Through my career, I’ve drawn creativity and inspiration from my students, believing in the power of lifelong learning to transform lives. As an educator, I recognize the importance of applying my skills beyond the classroom.
This realization led me to be a certified life coach. I partner with clients to support them through a change that helps them set goals, inspire them to see themselves in a whole new way, and reach their full potential.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely was not a smooth road in the beginning. Actually, let me backtrack. It was a smooth road in the beginning wth me deciding to be a certified life coach.
Then there was quite a bit of turbulence when I began sharing my new journey with people I knew. They would laugh or would have hundreds of questions that made me think twice about my decision in my new journey. It made me afraid to fail and I started to self sabotage myself with thoughts of failure.
Then I had to see myself as a person of value and this is my life’s purpose. I reminded myself that what people say about me doesn’t matter and it’s none of my business. What people think or say about me is their opinion of the world. Their view, their value, their experience has nothing to do with me. It has to do with them.
The person that matters the most is me. My opinion matters and I need to be kind to myself. Here I am today helping others fulfill their full potential.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
What sets my business apart is not just my expertise but my personal journey of transformation and resilience and having overcome significant challenges. I understand what it takes to get unstuck and move forward. I offer tailor-made solutions designed to address each client’s unique needs. I provide guidance, support, and accountability you need to overcome obstacles.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Finding a good mentor is important. You can find a mentor by checking your community mentorship programs, networking events or online resources. Look for someone who has knowledge, skills, experience you want and can relate to. Someone you are comfortable around. A good mentor should be supportive, communicative, and inspiring. They should be willing to share their experiences and to challenge your way of thinking.
Networking is a great way to gain advice and access to valuable resources. Networking is a way to meet people and build relationships with them. It leads to better communication, can help you build confidence and self-esteem. Also, get you out of your comfort zone.
It was a trial and error for me. I began going to networking events and joined activities I thought I would enjoy. What worked for me was joining a woman’s group and I went to meet up events where I connected with people I had things in common with or felt I could learn from. I also had a life coach to help me manage my own stress. She helped me stay positive and stay calm during an earlier period of my life.
