Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Flowers.
Hi Natasha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2020, after the tragic killings of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd, the world shifted. There was a global outcry—people rising up against racial injustice, demanding change, demanding to be seen and heard. Like so many others, I felt the weight of it deeply.
One night, I was lying in bed with a heavy heart, praying. I remember saying to God, “I need to do something.” Not as a protester, but as an individual. I wanted to contribute in a way that came from my spirit. For three nights in a row, I kept hearing and feeling the same message in my soul. It wouldn’t leave me alone.
Finally, I decided to write it down.
I knew I wanted something that could impact the world. I began to sketch—a heart with the world inside of it. That image came from exactly where I was feeling the pain: my heart. That moment became the beginning of my vision—All Hearts Matter.
I started searching for an artist to bring my idea to life, but I had no luck. Then one day, while driving, I saw a sign for logo printing. I took it as a sign and walked in. I met a young man there and tried my best to explain my vision—a heart with the world inside, representing a universal message that speaks to every spectrum of life.
After about 30 minutes of conversation, he created exactly what I had been carrying in my heart. In that moment, we both had tears in our eyes. I knew right then that this message was bigger than me. It was meant to reach people, to heal, to remind the world of love.
Looking back, I realize this vision has always been a part of who I am.
I am the fifth of seven children. Growing up, I was always the one helping others—my family, my neighbors—doing things others didn’t want to do, trying to keep peace wherever I could. But my childhood wasn’t easy. In high school, I was bullied for how I looked—my long hair, hazel eyes, being called names, even being told I looked like a “white girl.” I never told my parents. Teachers didn’t step in. My name was written on lockers, and I constantly had to watch my surroundings. I only had a few people who truly supported me.
Those experiences made me strong, but they also gave me deep empathy.
Today, when I look around and see people struggling—whether they’re homeless, battling addiction, facing mental illness, living with disabilities, on the autism spectrum, or part of the LGBTQ+ community—I understand that pain. I understand what it feels like to have a broken heart, to feel unseen or unwanted.
I often think, what if I had a message like this back then? Something powerful enough to remind me that I mattered.
That’s why All Hearts Matter is so important to me. It’s not just a phrase—it’s a feeling. It’s a reminder that no matter who you are or what you’ve been through, you are loved. Your heart matters.
I am proud of this vision. It’s a message of unity, healing, and love—a positive energy I believe the world truly needs.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the biggest challenges I faced in starting my business was financial. I didn’t have all the resources I needed upfront, so I had to rely on faith, determination, and taking small steps forward whenever I could. Another challenge was networking—building the right connections and finding people who truly understood my vision wasn’t easy at first. But over time, I learned to step out of my comfort zone, share my story, and trust that the right people would align with my purpose.
