Life & Work with Monique Mosee-King of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Monique Mosee-King.

Hi Monique, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hello viewers, my story is not so different from many who are Artist. I am a working actress, Singer and actors mentor. I have been a performer for as long as I can remember. My parents exposed us to many artistic options as young and I gravitate toward all of them. I draw, act, sing, do voice- over and mentor others to do the same. I’ve been seen it TV, Commercials, Films and heard in broad-based platforms for all of these genres over the last 20 years. My lost recent accomplishments are a supporting role in a 2023 Tubi original and a co-star role on TV’s #1 comedy on Paramount and Universal ST DENIS MEDICAL. One of my national commercials currently running is a DRIVETIME spot and I have some other amazing nationals awaiting release. I own a mentorship business Entertainers Life Boot Camp LLC, where I mentor artist, mostly actors to their goals of success. It is a personal passion of mine to ensure guidance to Artist aspiring to achieve their goals. I am having great success with them. I started acting in the theaters of Philadelphia and then moved on to working in commercials, industrials and Film. I moved to the LA area 8 years ago and took off running to bigger and better. With Television and film.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
A smooth road is relative to one’s expectations. Of course there have been and continue to be challenges, however, I wouldn’t change a thing. Everyone rough road prepared me to handle the little things easier. If you expect things to work out most of the time and put all your energy, vibrations and spirit toward that end, you’ll 9 out of 10 times see that result. The other 1% teach you how to deal with hearing “NO”. And sometimes “no” was the best thing for you at the time. Like booking a role your not prepared to be a local hire for. Accept the challenges and expect things to work out in your favor. Whether it was the answer you expected or not.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I already answered what I do in the previous 1st question.
I’m most proud of my success on the west coast and the successes of my clients.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
How to visualize and meditate. The understanding of my talent, my power and my purpose.
