Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Marie Nicole.
Hi Lisa Marie , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started out singing in the church choir and writing when I was 7 years old. I always dreamed of being an award winning author, a professional singer or a journalist. I loved to interview people as a child. As I got into my teens, I started writing poetry and singing in church and eighties music that was on the radio. I always had strong faith in God, but I never knew just how strong until I developed a chronic illness and had to rely on God to get me through each day living in pain. Then I was blessed to have moved to Florida and I joined a local church, that is when God used the talent he blessed me with to write and sing music that not only helped myself, but helped others who suffered also and my lyrics were based on just that, learning to ask God for help and how to live in pain and be happy also. I am self taught at everything, writing, singing and playing guitar. I was blessed with all of this talent to spread hope and peace to everyone that would listen. Later on I decided to start a music and faith podcast, that is seen and heard all over the world, my guests are from all walks of life worldwide. It had won 2 major podcast of the year awards for 2025.
I currently am a US and International recording artist and I have 7 albums out, 2 books and my Rockin For God podcast is heard all over. I am so blessed that God heard my suffering and blessed me through the storm to help get me through life and help others in the process.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Besides my health being a struggle at times, Being a Christian artist has not been easy in the world that we live in today. I never judge or criticize anyone from a different faith or that doesn’t know who God is, my job is to show them by my lifestyle the blessings that have come to me by obedience to his word. With obedience comes blessings. If I can lead one person to the Lord and they are saved, then I did my job in this world.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a multi award winning Christian Recording artist songwriter, author and podcast host. I specialize in writing and singing music that brings hope and peace to the world. My books are about poetry and how to love one another despite our differences. I am most proud of my perseverance through the hard times and my podcast that I started from scratch. I would love more guests from all over the US to be on my show, which is different from other podcasts, I have been told that my shows are different because I am different and I let people speak and I promote them in the process. I am blessed to do everything that I do
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
To trust in myself and never doubt who I am and what I was created to be, also to never think that I am better than anyone else. I always have more to learn from my craft and I am open to learning more as time goes on. I am also willing to share what I have learned and help people grow in life
