Today we’d like to introduce you to Junior LLedo.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was already a radio host at KJBU 99.3 FM, but I was looking for a way to evolve beyond just radio. Inspired by the golden era of late night Johnny Carson, Arsenio Hall I wanted to bring that nostalgia back with a fresh spin. It all clicked when a friend introduced me to Deniecw Williams. After that interview, my YouTube channel took off. And it was from there that The Late Show with LLedo was born, as a platform for those iconic, in-depth conversations that set me apart as a YouTuber and content creator.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was far from a smooth ride. The hardest part was realizing that people’s time is unpredictable they could cancel on me last minute. Even when I had great communication, some interviews just didn’t happen. But I stayed committed to keeping the channel alive when interviews fell through, I pivoted to Reels and Shorts. Those shorts kept me visible, so I never lost momentum even though the core interviews were always my focus.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a multimedia creative: a radio host on KJBU 99.3 FM, host, content creator, and a music artist. My journey started as a podcaster and blossomed into radio, always guided by a love of storytelling. You might think I’d be most proud of reaching 20 million YouTube views, but honestly, it’s standing in front of classrooms as a speaker that moves me most seeing students eager to learn from my journey as I continue to grow. Along the way, I’ve been featured in a Netflix film for my music, hosted Dallas Cowboys Fan Night, and stepped on stage at GaryVee’s VeeCon. I’ve also hosted comedy shows and kept a pulse on my creative freedom, staying true to my pace. I’m honored to be a respected voice in my community, always pushing forward and evolving in my craft.
