Today we’d like to introduce you to Georgus Rhodes.

Hi Georgus, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
FEEDforever started off as a raw cocoa butter massage candle company simply for my love of candles that started back in the fifth grade. When I was in a fifth grade, I remember this young black girl named Cameron bringing candles to school for our class show and tell with her grandmother along side her. Together, they showed us all candles that they made at home, The candles smelled delicious but I knew they weren’t edible but the memory of how delicious the candle smelled always stuck with me. It made me wonder if there was an edible candle out there but I couldn’t find it, so I wanted to make a candle that was rich, has health beneficial and made with food-grade ingredients; and hey if it smells so good and you desire to taste, WHY NOT!? That’s how FEEDforever raw cocoa butter formula products came about and asince then, the product line has grown into a line of all raw cocoa butter formula products made for body, skin and hair.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The obstacles I face is getting the product out into the world. FEEDforever is a small business. We’ve been in operation for 5 years and still pushing to get seen everyone.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a writer and cinematographer. I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was four and I’m the only person in my family that has a photo album of everyone growing up from childhood into adulthood. I specialize in story telling and I’m most proud of opening a photography/videography studio and serving the community. I’m best known for my short film Prism and FEEDforever Raw Cocoa Butter. What sets me apart from others is I can pull creativity out of the thin air and vibe off just that alone.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What make me happy is seeing others happy. I’m an altruistic being and genuinely care about others. To know that someone is having a good day and you feel it in their energy is always a good feeling.
