Life & Work with Hitta Castro

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hitta Castro. Him and his team share his story with us below.

Please kick things off for us with some background on the story.
Born on August 11, 1987, in Lynn in Massachusetts, Hitta Castro is an American songwriter, rapper, and actor. Since he was born in a Puerto Rican family, his music is highly influenced by Puerto Rico & music. Hitta Castro was an ordinary school-going child with an extraordinary dream of becoming a rap artist and songwriter. His inclination towards music became evident when he began recording music at the age of 14. Everything was smooth and sound until he stepped into his own nightmare. Spending time in depressing place such as a jail can take away a person’s hope and even strip them from their passions and dreams. Luckily for Castro, it was this time that brought him close to his dream. Started doing music and taken it seriously Hitta became an internet celebrity on myspace where he grows his fame since then he started in two movies as well as dropped many music projects looking back at my life of crime to now living good with positive vibes & great team behind me I’m grateful I made it out.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Everything we want to do in life would never be easy because if it was easy everyone would be who they want to be… but because it’s hard and we have to work harder for it then it becomes more of a great feeling when u do get far and look at the hard work you have done you can see the growth in every move…

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As an artist and being creative, I put myself in different mindsets to make sure my music is different every time, I battle myself every record to better my last record is how I am different from others some make music to make music so do music because they love doing music and all theme reason is great but I do music to keep bettering myself because my current song is fire until I make new song and I outdo my last work so I compete with myself and that keeps me going.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Never ever give up, nobody who tells you anything negative keep doing what you love… when I first started, my music was too hard for radio it was mainly for the street I took the negative and turn it into positive by doing the music they said I couldn’t do and didn’t sound good doing… and I mastered it well… I wish when I first started, I had someone tell me to invest in your self the right way.
